First, I just wanted to share a reminder of the reason we celebrate Christmas: Jesus! It’s so easy in our modern world to forget this between parties and presents.

Let’s take a moment to remember Him and His ultimate sacrifice for us all.

I LOVE fresh varnish when it comes out nicely. I use Damar varnish and like to thin it out a little bit with thinner so it’s not too thick and doesn’t develop any yellow tinge as it dries. This way I find it creates a glossy, almost sparkly from the side finish:
