Just some quick updates...

Happy New Year! It’s 2026 and I truly pray this year brings you everything that you’ve been searching for.

I’m sorry I didn’t send out an email last week. The holidays were busy but also the kids and I have been quite sick with all the things that seem to be going around right now.

In addition to being a new year, today is also my birthday. This has led to a lot of reflecting a lot on my purpose in life. On all the schooling I’ve done prior to having kids and wondering whether I’ll utilize that or not in the future. On how that ties in with painting or if it does. Sometimes God’s plan for us is hard to see, but we know that He can see it and that’s what’s important.

I’m also spending time in prayer trying to sort out 2026 in terms of what things I want to accomplish art-wise. I feel very strongly that I want to focus on painting for different Christian causes but that feels very abstract and unclear right now.

I would be grateful if you could say a prayer for me on this so that I might receive some direction. If you have any prayers you’d like me to say for the new year (or any time), please just hit reply and let me know.

If you were still thinking about doing my Winter Layers Mixed Media Exploration art class, the start date has been pushed back to January 17th and it will now only be 4 weeks as opposed to 6 because I want to make sure I’m 100% back to normal before running this class. If you’ve already signed up, you should have already been contacted by the SCAC.
