In memory of Charlie Kirk
What a difficult week for so many people, but most especially the family of Charlie Kirk. If you are struggling, please know there is help and support available to you! Also, please REPLY to this e-mail if you would like to chat or pray together...
This has been a heavy week… The passing of Charlie Kirk has left so many people grieving, and my heart especially goes out to his family and closest loved ones.
Times like these remind us how fragile everything is — and how much we need each other, and the steady hope of Christ.
Scripture promises us:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
If you are struggling this week — with grief, with discouragement, or simply with the weight of it all — please know you don’t have to carry it alone.
You are welcome to reply directly to this email if you’d like someone to talk with or to pray together. I’d love to be there for you.
There are also wonderful prayer and crisis lines available:
📞 Billy Graham Prayer Line: 1-888-388-2683
📞 Crisis Line: 1-855-771-HELP (4357)
Both lines are free, confidential, and available to pray with you or connect you to further support. Please don’t hesitate to reach out — to me, to a trusted friend, or to one of these ministries. You are not alone.
Updates
Autumn decided it was time to start potty training on Monday, so this week was not as productive for me, which is honestly okay in light of everything.
I was able to work a little more on my two large canvases this week, and now all four paintings in my new collection are almost ready for oils — a stage that always feels like the last stretch in my process:

Thank you, as always, for walking with me — through art, faith, and life.
Warmly in HIM,
Martina
