This week I’ve worked on finishing up the charcoal on the second commission for Equipping the Persecuted.

This is where things are at:

This coming week, I’ll be in the final stage of oils - first glazing and then finishing up the final layers.

The lion painting is still drying but should be ready for the final layer this week. The other two commissions will be ready for varnishing this week so I’ll share final photos when I can!

I’m in the planning phase for my last set of paintings I’m taking on before baby #3 is due! Hope to share more on that soon.

I’ve really enjoyed working on this piece as a change of pace. Hope to show you the final product next week. Let me know if you have any thoughts!
