Doing Justice to the "Abide" Collection
I'm really taking my time with the large "Abide" works in progress right now as I strongly feel like I need to do them justice, or as well as I possibly can given my skill level...
I’m slowly working on the two largest paintings in my new “Abide” collection right now. The last few weeks have been a little bit slow going but I feel like I really need to try and do them justice.
This one in particular has been the centre of my attention this week:
Sometimes I feel like I’m over my childhood issues but when they do come up again for me, this is how I imagine that I was being carried by Jesus even when I didn’t know it. He was chasing me and looking out for me from day 1 even when I didn’t feel it or know it.
This is the second one and I felt called to paint this to capture how I feel sometimes when I’m worshiping:
Over the summer I read Andrew Murray’s Divine Healing, and Abide, both of which really influenced the creation of this series. I would highly recommend Divine Healing especially if you are struggling with anything health related that the medical system has no answers for.
Updates for the Week
Just a reminder as I’ve had a few questions about this - if you are interested in originals, please reply to this email or contact me directly. Newer collections will have print drops as announced through this list. Prints from older collections are available ALL the time. You can find them on my website: https://martinaheinelt.com/ . They are fulfilled by Gelato, which is FABULOUS. If you run into any issues or are not totally satisfied, they will replace the print and fix whatever the issue is right away for you. Their customer service is really superb.
Tomorrow, Saturday September 20th is the Alberta Culture Days Art Show, where my Dominion & Wonder collection will be on display if you wanted to check it out.
I’ve recently been featured in a press release if you’d like to check it out here.
My Christmas giveaway for two original Firmament pieces is now officially PUBLIC. So unfortunately the special triple-entry period has ended, but you can definitely still enter! All you have to do is reply to this e-mail letting me know which painting below is your favourite for a chance to win it in time for Christmas (no strings attached - I’ll deliver it or ship it to you at no cost).
1. “Dawn of Grace”; 2.“Everlasting Dawn”
As always, a huge and very genuine thank you for following along with me every week. Please do not hesitate to reply to this e-mail if you want to share anything, ask me questions, simply connect and especially if you’re needing prayer.
Warmly in HIM,
Martina
